DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
We deeply value diversity and inclusion. As an organization rooted in the non-profit sector, we are committed to creating an organization that reflects the communities around us. Our goal is to create and sustain a culture where every person feels heard, supported, valued, and can thrive. By respecting every individual’s unique background, we hope to better support both our members and the clients we serve.
We strive to make the application and recruitment process accessible without any prior consulting knowledge or experience, and to that end, provide resources to interested applicants via our mailing list and 1:1 office hours. We understand the possible financial hurdles in joining a high commitment student organization for student workers, and support members that do via our Equity Fund.
Clearly, there is still more to do. We will continue to put in the work to build progress
towards meaningful, tangible results around diversity and inclusion.

PHILANTHROPY
TBG regularly partners with organizations around the Berkeley area to give back and make a difference.
Our members are highly motivated by their social sector passion and constantly seek out new projects to
give back including starting their own. Most recently, our Philanthropy Committee ran a campus-wide food drive and raised over $3500 for the Alameda County Community Food Bank!
